Worsted + Aran weight yarn

Worsted weight is truly the middle of the yarn thickness road. Great for snuggly sweaters and projects that don’t take forever. It has 9 wraps per inch (wpi) and a knit gauge of 20 stitches over 4 inches [10cm]. (5 stitches per inch)

Aran weight is heavier than worsted weight, but not yet bulky. Great for thicker, super warm hats & scarves, but not too heavy. It has 8 wraps per inch (wpi) and a knit gauge of 18 stitches over 4 inches [10cm]. (4.5 stitches per inch)
