A cotton designed to defy the whims of the weather. Atelier Brunette's water-repellent cotton is a fabric with a dense and structured drape, a material treated with a technical process that allows it to withstand light showers.

Water beads on the surface and slides off without penetrating the fiber, practical and elegant, without compromising on the natural feel of 100% Cotton.

An ideal cotton to pair with The Trench sewing pattern or other outerwear.

  • Care: Wash in cold water, gentle spin cycle. No tumble dryer

TIPS BEFORE SEWING WATER-REPELLENT FABRIC:
Do not use erasable markers to mark your reference points. This risks highly visible brown or white stains when ironing. You can use a chalk pencil. The water-repellent cotton has been treated and remains waterproof for up to 8 washes. Sew with a size 80 universal needle.
