And help keep it working for years to come.

A basic service will solve many of the most common issues with your sewing machine. (And help keep it working for years to come.)

Unfortunately it sounds like your machine might need some repairs (or some replacement parts) in addition to a "basic service".

Note: we recommend that you have your machine serviced for basic issues like a Noisy machine, Skipped Stitches, Poor Tension, Thread Nesting & ALL other sewing issues. If you know of a broken part we can repair or replace it. Please do NOT select 'repair only' for sewing issues.

If Repairs (or Replacement Parts) are needed

We will contact you to approve any additional charges for replacement parts & the required labor unless you pre-approve them below.

Bigger issues (Repairs look likely)

Bigger repairs start with a diagnosis and estimate and proceed from there.

  1. There is a $30 Bench fee for the diagnosis should repairs (or a COA) not be made.
  2. We will contact you to approve any repair charges that exceed the amount pre-approved.
  3. Repair charges are in addition to the basic service charges previously listed.

When to bring in your machine

Once you have paid the $65 deposit, you are ready to drop off your machine any time that is convenient for you!

You don't need to schedule a drop off time, just bring your machine to the shop anytime that we're open.

But what if your machine is working fine and you want to keep sewing until you're next in the repair queu?

Great question. (We're updating our machine repair scheduling system, please bear with us as we make changes.)

  1. Let us know that you'll be keeping your machine for as long as possible.
  2. Expect to hear from us in 3 to 4 weeks (although this could change as we work through our queu of machines).
  3. Bring your machine in when you can.
Once we have your machine, our usual turn around time is about a week or two (although we can be faster or slower depending on current volume). This does not include the time required if repair (or replacement) parts are needed.

Please note that repairs will (usually) incur additional labor charges depending on the scope of any additional work required.

Since your machine isn't working right now

Since your machine isn't working great (just okay)

You'll want to bring it in as soon as you can.
-
While we do our best to work through the machines in the order that the deposit is paid it doesn't hurt to get the machine into the shop ASAP - especially when we might need to order parts for it.

The work will definitely get done sooner if we have your machine in the shop right away.

What to Bring

Please be sure to bring:
  • Zig-zag Presser Foot
  • Bobbin Case
  • Bobbin
  • General Sewing Stitch Plate (Not Straight Stitch Plate)

When you pay the deposit we'll put your machine in our repair schedule. (This can take us a few days to do, please be patient.) We'll send an email to let you know when your machine is scheduled and you should plan to drop off your machine before the scheduled date.

Or you can come to the shop, pay the deposit in the store and leave your machine with us. Whatever works for you.
