How do I know it’s time to have my sewing machine serviced?
Here are a few signs that your machine needs a professional cleaning.
- The hand wheel is hard to turn.
- Thread is constantly breaking
- Frequent skipped stitches
- Tension problems that result in unbalanced stitching or puckered fabric.
- Machine not sewing
What should I leave at home?
We don't need all of the presser feet, accessories and tools that came with the machine.
You can also leave the slide on table, accessories case and dust cover at home.
When it comes to presser feet, we generaly only need the zigzag presser foot. If you are having trouble with a particular stitch that uses another foot, please bring that one in as well. If you'd like us to test the buttonhole foot, please bring that foot in.
Can I just bring my machine in without pre-paying?
