The Luxury Blend collection is an exclusive blend from KINUA: 80% Fine Peruvian Merino Wool with 20% Baby Alpaca Suri. Baby Alpaca Suri fiber is characterized by its lustrosity, softness and thermal properties. To source Fine Peruvian Merino Wool, Kinua works directly with a small group of local farmers from the Andes Mountains, nearly 4000 meters (13,000 feet) above sea level, to hand-select small batches of the finest Peruvian merino wool. Each lot is scoured, milled, spun and quality controlled by their team.

Suri alpaca is one of our most adored and luxurious fibers. Its unique luster and incomparable softness make it ideal for the creation of fine, heirloom garments. Combined with merino wool fiber it makes for the perfect, luxury blend for your most cherished knitting projects.

Today Suri alpacas only represent around 12% of the global alpaca population which makes it a rare and highly valued fiber. At KINUA, they work with a variety of leaves, Andean flowers, roots and vegetable waste celebrating nature. Natural dyeing has a perfect affinity for wool, alpaca and cotton fibers and produces a natural aesthetic and harmonious vivid colors.
