Quilted basket: scrap busting improv
Make a quilted fabric basket to store some tools and notions in your sewing space! Bring in all your leftover fabrics from other projects, quilt blocks that never found a home or any other fabric from your stash! We’ll cut up, deconstruct, and put it all back together using a basic improvisational design.
Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
- Level: Experienced Beginner. You’ve taken Quilting I and II.
- We provide: 18” piece of batting, 18” piece of muslin, studio space, tools, and expertise.
- You bring: yourself, main fabrics–plenty of large scraps or leftover quilt blocks, or 4-6 Fat quarters for color variation, lining fabric: 1 fat quarter, Binding: fabric about 3 x 20”. Don't forget we offer 15% off all materials for any of our workshops.
- Class length: 2 1/2 hours

*Some Sewing Classes may be scheduled for our downstairs studio. Please contact us if you would prefer not to navigate stairs and we will switch studios.

Unused yarn, pre-cut fat-quarter bundles and un-opened notions, in their original condition, may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase. We do not cover shipping costs for exchanges.
We offer a full refund within 14 days of purchase and a store credit within 30 days of purchase.
Non-returnable items:
Cut to order fabrics, all books and patterns, gift cards, classes as well as downloadable products. These can be replaced if damaged in shipping.
All "sale" items are also final sale.
