Ambah O'Brien's Kirra Shawl is a classic shape created with simple increased. Choose two contrasting colors for a fun adventure in mosaic knitting written for DK/Worsted or fingering weight yarn. The geometric patterning is created with slip stitches, and you need only work with one color each row – no stranding! Create yours with two solid colors or add to the knitting fun by using a gradient or color change yarn for one of the colors.
Limited to 5 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
- Level: advanced beginner/intermediate - you are not a complete beginner because you have taken Knitting Basics and Knitting II.
- We provide: expertise and moral support!
- You bring: yourself, a copy of the pattern (available in-store), 32” or longer circular needle suggested size US 4 or 7 pending on the weight yarn you choose, stitch markers, and approximately 250 yards of worsted weight yarn or 400 yards of fingering weight yarn. Don't forget that we offer 15% off all supplies for any of our workshops.
- Class length: 2 1/2 hours
- Need to pickup supplies prior to the class session.

Last minute cancellations
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any cancellations with less than 72 hours notice. Of course, if you can’t make a class at the last minute you can always send someone in your place.
Class Credits
Due to the very limited enrollment in our classes and the special nature of our workshops, classes/workshops are non-refundable. However, if you let us know at least 72 hours in advance, we will transfer you to another class of your choosing or credit your gather here account.

Class Materials
All materials are included in our 'Basics' classes.
Intermediate and advanced classes often require that you bring your own materials; please check the class description for a complete materials list.
