The Matcha is a swingy, easy-to-sew top with a stunning, mandarin-inspired neckline. Designed to highlight your collar bone, it leaves your waist free to move around comfortably. Mid-weight, soft fabric with a nice drape. Good options include cotton ikat, double gauze, rayon, and silk crepe-de-chine and charmeuse. Some linens will work, as long as they drape well.
Materials Needed:
- 8" x 8" square of featherweight fusible interfacing
- Coordinating thread
- 2 sets of hooks and eyes
- Basic sewing kit: fabric scissors, pins and pincushion, seam ripper, quilting pen or tailor's chalk, and iron.
