Knit Tiny Pocket Chicken
Knit Tiny Pocket Chicken
Struggling with Judy's Magic Cast On? Need more whimsy in your life? This tiny pocket chicken is a low-stress, scrap busting evening project sure to help you build your skills. The chicken is completed using a three needle bind off, the comb, tail, legs, beak, and eyes are added afterwards with a few easy embroidery stitches.
Limited to 5 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
- Level: adventurous beginner/intermediate - you've successfully completed Knitting Basics and Knitting II.
- We provide: Plenty of space, stuffing, black floss/yarn for eyes, no pressure, and encouragement.
- You bring: yourself, a copy of the tiny pocket chicken pattern, a small amount of yarn for the body, yarn for the comb, tail and legs, a small amount of yarn for the beak, appropriate long circular needles for the yarn you bring (the heavier the yarn the larger the chicken) and a tapestry needle. (Gauge is not crucial to this project but will affect the size and the amount of yarn used and ultimately your fish will look better if its stuffing isn't visible.) We offer 15% off all materials purchased for class.
- Class length: 2.5 hours
Please note this class is IN PERSON ONLY
