Isle Jeans Pattern

The Isle is a high-waisted stretch denim jean pattern. The waist is fitted with six darts and finished with a waistband facing. View A is fitted to just past the knee with a flare leg. View B is fitted through the upper hips and is relaxed through the thigh with a wide leg. Both views include front and back patch pockets.

Skill level: Intermediate

Size Range: 0-30

Recommended Fabric:
Stretch denim or stretch corduroy (10% - 15% stretch).

This style is designed for 10 - 12oz denim with 10% - 15% stretch. A minimum fabric width of 54" (137cm) is required for sizes 20-30 to cut the waistband casing on the fold.

Minimum fabric requirements are listed. If you think you will need more for shrinkage, directional print, pattern matching or print repeat, please purchase accordingly.

Materials Needed:

• 1 x Matching thread
• 1/4 yd fusible interfacing
• 1 x 1 1/8" (25-28mm) button
• 1 x 1/2" button
• 1 x #4.5 jean zipper, see chart for length
• Zipper foot
• Denim sewing needle
• Optional: Tailor's chalk or washable fabric marker
