Embroidery Clinic: Invisible Knots

Looking for ways to make the back of your embroidery look neater? Tickled by knot tails on the back of your mended patches? Come to this clinic to learn how to work without knots (though the back is always going to look like the back)! We'll make a sampler to test out a variety of loops, "away" knots, and stitch duplication so you can have a reference for your future, beautifully finished objects.

Limited to 5 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

  • Level: This workshop is suitable for all skill levels.
  • We provide: A small sampler that you can take home for reference, embroidery thread, and expertise.
  • You bring: yourself, a 6-8" embroidery hoop, embroidery needles of various sizes and lengths. Don't forget that we offer 15% off all supplies purchased for any of our workshop.
  • Class Length: 1 1/2 hours

Last minute cancellations
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any cancellations with less than 72 hours notice. Of course, if you can’t make a class at the last minute you can always send someone in your place. 

Class Credits
Due to the very limited enrollment in our classes and the special nature of our workshops, classes/workshops are non-refundable. However, if you let us know at least 72 hours in advance, we will credit your gather here account.

Class Materials
All materials are included in our 'Basics' classes.
Intermediate and advanced classes often require that you bring your own materials; please check the class description for a complete materials list.
