Crochet - Hexi Puff Coaster

You’ve successfully taken Crochet Basics and have been crocheting squares like a machine. Why not try something new? These fun and fast coasters designed by Toni Lipsey are worked from the center out in individual motifs using the classic puff stitch. A single crochet border and loop are added so you can display your project proudly and have them handily hanging in the kitchen for whenever you need it. The finished dimension for a single coaster is 6 1/2" which is actually a great size for a pot of tea or a bowl of soup.

Limited to 5 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

• Level: adventurous beginner (you have taken Crochet Basics and know how to hold a crochet hook!)
• We provide: a copy of the pattern, expertise, and moral support.
• You bring:  yourself, at least 40-60 yards of DK weight yarn (we suggest Kelbourne Woolens Mojave or Bamboo Pop for washability but if you want your coaster/trivet to be heat resistent you'll want to use a woolblend like Brooklyn Tweed's Dapple) to make a single trivet, US H hook, and a tapestry needle for weaving in your ends.
