Bag Charms

Bag charms are SOOOO on trend right now. You can use them on your bag (obviously), your keys, your phone, backpack/fanny-pack, and your water bottle. In a world that sometimes is just a sea of black and grey coats even attaching one to your zipper is just the whimsical touch you might need. We know we do.

Lisa G. has been crafting these cuties all summer and thinks you'll want to make a few, too. Not only a great gift but you'll gain confidence sewing tight curves on a sewing machine!

Limited to 5 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

  • Level:  Adventurous and Confident Beginner. You know how to thread a machine, sew a straight line and wind a bobbin.  You’ve made your fair share of tote bags.
  • We provide:  felt, ribbon, templates (there better be a kitty, Lisa!), hand sewing tools, machines, and expertise!
  • You bring:  yourself and a sense of whimsy. 
  • Class length: 2 hours
Online participants will:
  • Need to pickup supplies prior to the class session.
  • Receive a Zoom invitation link the morning of the workshop.
You may be asked to mask. Thank you for your understanding.
*Some Sewing Classes may be scheduled for our downstairs studio. Please contact us if you would prefer not to navigate stairs and we will switch studios.

Last minute cancellations
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any cancellations with less than 72 hours notice. Of course, if you can’t make a class at the last minute you can always send someone in your place. 

Class Credits
Due to the very limited enrollment in our classes and the special nature of our workshops, classes/workshops are non-refundable. However, if you let us know at least 72 hours in advance, we will credit your gather here account.

Please email us at with any class cancellation requests. A reply email will have your credit info attached.

Class Materials
All materials are included in our 'Basics' classes.
Intermediate and advanced classes often require that you bring your own materials; please check the class description for a complete materials list.
