Youth School of Sewing TWO - 6 sessions
Youth School of Sewing TWO - 6 sessions
Part TWO of our six week comprehensive sewing skill-building workshop for kids ages 9 to 15. In Part Two we'll focus on more challenging projects and hone skills that we developed in the first six weeks of the School of Sewing. Projects will range may include pajama pants, a simple bias bound shirt, cozy slippers, custom patches, and a patchwork quilted pillow. Over the course of six weeks students will gain sewing machine confidence, garment pattern understanding, and patchwork experience.
Just like our Adult School of Sewing Intermediate series, students will kick things off with a pair of pajama pants. All material are included in this series.
If a student has previously attended Kids are Alright and are looking for a more self-guided sewing period, you may want to sign them up for Youth Open Sew. Open Sew gives students access to tools and machines as well as instructor expertise. Students must provide their own pattern and materials.
