Oilcloth was started in 1995 by their woman founder who was the first to bring oilcloth to the United States. It was something she and her friends loved when traveling and it just wasn't available outside of Mexico.
Today's oilcloth is very much like the original from the 1950's. In fact, some of their prints date from the era.
