This rescue bar includes a custom perfume "the Mendesian" which New England Apothecary designed as a tribute fragrance using ingredients characteristic of the ancient Egyptian classic. The Mendesian features spice-laden heart and base notes: cardamom, cassia, myrrh, frankincense with bergamot & orange topnotes.
This delicate blend of organic, fair-trade cocoa butter and coconut oil, kokum butter, and apricot kernel oil deeply moisturizes without blocking pores. An added mixture of natural waxes imparts additional structural integrity to the bar and a protective barrier to the skin to help lock in moisture.
