Craft Nite

Craft Nite

Free Event

Come and craft in and with community every Monday evening at 5:30-8 PM! Bring your handwork - embroidery, cross stitch, knitting, crochet, lace making, hand quilting... you name it, we'd love to see what you are making.

Don't have a craft to work on? Don't worry - we have all sorts of craft kits that you can purchase and start working on. And with some of our team members in attendance there will be someone that can get you started or unstuck.

Or better yet, lend a hand to our craftivism project! We are continuing to crochet a "Freedom to Choose" banner! Part of our efforts to engage community to talk about reproductive rights but also work towards reproductive access and maternity care for all people.

Free and open to all! Coming from work? Be sure to grab something to eat from one of the many restaurants in Inman Square!

  • When: 5:30-8 PM most Monday in 2025 (we hope to move outdoors as well as to the Brattle Theatre)
  • We provide: our front handwork table, stools and chairs, support, and enthusiasm!
  • You bring: yourself and your project (feel free to bring treats - everyone loves treats!) Please practice community care - if you are feeling under the weather do not attend craft nite.
  • Cost: It's free!

NOTE: On Mondays Masks are Required - community and craft must be accessible to all.

Online participants will:
  • Receive a Zoom invitation link the morning of the workshop.
Note that masks are required on Mondays. You may be asked to mask on other days.

Craft Night

This was such a wonderful way to spend an evening! All crafts were welcome including crochet, knitting, embroidery, quilting, and painting. Everyone was kind and friendly, and the staff were so open and welcoming. I can't wait for next week!
