Scrappy Plaid Mini Quilt

Looking for a trick to matching up seams in your design? The magic to this mini quilt is using fusible interfacing! Bring all your scraps and leftover fabrics to mix and match, and we’ll go over color theory and value in designing your piece. To finish off, we’ll add a facing to the quilt back instead of a traditional binding to make your piece really pop as a wall hanging.
Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
- Level: Confident beginner/Intermediate - you have successfully completed Quilting Basics and Quilting II or equivalent.
- We provide: the pattern (by instructor Laura Glass), expertise, machines, 12" square of cotton batting, and tools.
- You bring: Lightweight Fusible interfacing: one 20" square, For quilt top: Bring a mix of scrap fabrics in light, medium, and dark tones. (You’ll need a total of 25 pieces that are larger than 2.5” square). For quilt back & facing: 1 fat quarter. Don't forget that we offer 15% off supplies purchased for class.

Online participants will:
- Need to pickup supplies prior to the class session.
- Receive a Zoom invitation link the morning of the workshop.
