Youth School of Quilting - 6 sessions
Meets Saturday morning from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Students will learn how to measure and cut fabric to piece a throw sized star quilt. We'll discuss the principles of color and pattern in quilting as well as the techniques necessary to finish a quilt. Students will actually use the sewing machine to quilt and then bind their quilts by hand. If time permits students can further personalize their quilts using hand embroidery.
Limited to 4 students (ages 8-14). Students should have previous sewing machine experience. Completing previous sewing camps, Kids Are Alright, or equivalent.

Youth School of Quilting meets on Saturdays, 1/14, 1/21, 1/28, 2/4, 2/11,and 2/18 at 10:30 AM.
In person participants must be symptom free to enter the store and attend in person.
Masks are required for all guests inside gather here, regardless of vaccination status.
**Proof that you are up-to-date on COVID vaccination is required for in person class participation.**
