Woven Stripes Quilt Intensive - 3 session weekend

Make an entire lap size quilt (60 x 60”) start to finish. We’ll sew up a version of a Fence Rail Quilt design using strip piecing for quicker results. If you want some guidance to get through your first quilt, we’ll go through all the steps for an entire quilt from cutting, piecing, quilting and binding.

Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

      • Level:  Confident beginner, you’ve taken Quilting basics and Quilting 2 or equivalent
      • We provide:  the expertise, pattern, tools, and machines.
      • You bring: (6) quarter yard colors of fabric (FQs or yardage is ok), 2.5 yards background color, 2.5 yards fabric for quilt back, ½ yard fabric for binding, 2.5 yards batting, and a whole bunch of large safety pins for basting. We are assuming fabric/batting is 45" wide. If you are using wider width fabric/batting please discuss yardage requirements with a craft associate. Don't forget that we offer 15% off all supplies for any of our workshops.
      • Class length: 5 hours each session with a mid-session 30+ minute break for snacks/lunch.

      Sessions meet on Friday, June 20 - 22 at 1 PM

      Online participants will:
      • Need to pickup supplies prior to the class session.
      • Receive a Zoom invitation link the morning of the workshop.
      You may be asked to mask. Thank you for your understanding.
      *Some Sewing Classes may be scheduled for our downstairs studio. Please contact us if you would prefer not to navigate stairs and we will switch studios.

      Unused yarn, pre-cut fat-quarter bundles and un-opened notions, in their original condition, may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase. We do not cover shipping costs for exchanges.

      We offer a full refund within 14 days of purchase and a store credit within 30 days of purchase.

      Non-returnable items:
      Cut to order fabrics, all books and patterns, gift cards, classes as well as downloadable products. These can be replaced if damaged in shipping.

      All "sale" items are also final sale.
