4 Day Sewing Camp:

Meets from 9 AM to 12:30 PM. Students will use a sewing machine to create the following projects: a pair of joggers and a sweatshirt! All projects are designed to teach students various techniques like cutting jersey, sewing curves, and applique! Each project builds on the last one, students will finish camp with more than just the basics of machine sewing under their belts. Why not finish the year learning to make something!

Limited to 5 students (ages 9-15), this camp is designed for a variety of skill levels and is appropriate for students who have recently begun using a sewing machine.

We provide: materials, tools, and instruction.
Kids bring: Their ideas
Class length: 3 1/2 hours a day for 4 days for a total of 14 hours.

Meets December 30 - January 2 (gather here is closed for in store shopping January 1-2). Many students return to school on Friday, January 3, for those who have the entire week off we have a single day camp available should the student wish to continue sewing.

Last minute cancellations

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any cancellations with less than 72 hours notice. Of course, if you can’t make a class at the last minute you can always send someone in your place.

Class Credits

Due to the very limited enrollment in our classes and the special nature of our workshops, classes/workshops are non-refundable. However, if you let us know at least 72 hours in advance, we will transfer you to another class of your choosing or credit your gather here account.

Class Materials

All materials are included in our 'Basics' classes.
Intermediate and advanced classes often require that you bring your own materials; please check the class description for a complete materials list.
