Paola Turtleneck - Serger

This is a great next-step serger class after taking serger basics and finishing some seams. The perfect turtleneck to get you through the cooler months. This pattern is perfect for layering and wearing under sleeveless dresses, sweater vests, and so much more.

Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

  • Level:  Intermediate. You've used a serger, you have serged more than a scrap of jersey. You're fearless.
  • We provide:  The studio space, tools, sergers, and cover stitch machines and expertise.
  • You bring:  Fabric you love! You will need 1 1/2-2 yards of 54" wide jersey depending on the fit and size, a copy of the pattern (available in the store or purchase the pdf and have us print it!); we offer 15% off materials purchased for any of our classes. 
  • Class length:  4 hours
Online participants will:
  • Need to pickup supplies prior to the class session.
  • Receive a Zoom invitation link the morning of the workshop.
You may be asked to mask. Thank you for your understanding.
*Some Sewing Classes may be scheduled for our downstairs studio. Please contact us if you would prefer not to navigate stairs and we will switch studios.

Last minute cancellations
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any cancellations with less than 72 hours notice. Of course, if you can’t make a class at the last minute you can always send someone in your place. 

Class Credits
Due to the very limited enrollment in our classes and the special nature of our workshops, classes/workshops are non-refundable. However, if you let us know at least 72 hours in advance, we will credit your gather here account.

Please email us at with any class cancellation requests. A reply email will have your credit info attached.

Class Materials
All materials are included in our 'Basics' classes.
Intermediate and advanced classes often require that you bring your own materials; please check the class description for a complete materials list.
