Tunisian Adventurous Scarf

We have some miniskein advent calendar collections that really want to become something. Stripes upon stripes of Tunisian crochet stitches make up the body of this scarf. As you reveal each new mini-skein, add it to your scarf, striping it with the skein before. Get lost in the magic of colors melding together and turn out a beautiful scarf that is totally unique to you! There's no wrong way to stripe this!

Limited to 5 students (16yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

  • Level:  advanced beginner - you know how to crochet (taking Crochet Basics is a must) and we encourage you to take Intro to Tunisian Crochet prior to this workshop.
  • We provide: space and expertise
  • You bring:  a copy of Toni Lipsey's pattern, approximately 1040 yards of fingering weight yarn in 13ish colors, and a 5mm Tunisian crochet hook with 16” cord. This scarf finishes at 11.5" wide and 85" long (you can adjust the width by doing more or fewer rows in the Increase Section; adjust the length by doing more or fewer rows in the Body Section.) Don't forget that we offer 15% off all materials purchased for class.
  • Class length: 2 1/2 hours
    Online participants will:
    • Need to pickup supplies prior to the class session.
    • Receive a Zoom invitation link the morning of the workshop.
    Note that masks are required on Mondays. You may be asked to mask on other days.

    Last minute cancellations

    Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any cancellations with less than 72 hours notice. Of course, if you can’t make a class at the last minute you can always send someone in your place. 

    Class Credits

    Due to the very limited enrollment in our classes and the special nature of our workshops, classes/workshops are non-refundable. However, if you let us know at least 72 hours in advance, we will transfer you to another class of your choosing or credit your gather here account.

    Class Materials

    All materials are included in our 'Basics' classes.
    Intermediate and advanced classes often require that you bring your own materials; please check the class description for a complete materials list.
