Join Greeley and create the coziest slippers you could ever dream of. With a thick, soft cushion of insulating fibre on the sole and around the cuffs they’re the key to instantly warm toes. The secret is thrumming, a traditional technique used to create super warm mittens in chilly Newfoundland and Labrador.
Limited to 5 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
- Level: Adventurous Beginner, you have taken knitting basics and circular knitting.
- We provide: 1 oz of roving and expertise!
- You bring: 275 yds of chunky weight yarn. Size 7 DPN or long circular needles. Stitch markers. A copy of Ysolda's Cadeautje pattern; we offer 15% off all materials for any of our workshops.
- Class length: 2 1/2 hours each session for a total of 5 hours.
Class meets on Saturday, January 20 & 27 at 1:30PM.
Online participants will:
- Need to pickup supplies prior to the class session.
- Receive a Zoom invitation link the morning of the workshop.
