You may have seen Jooé wearing her Sophie Scarf in a knitting or sewing workshop or even in one of the newsletters. And Lisa G has also been accessorizing with one as well! This PetiteKnit scarf is a great way to gain confidence with an icord edge.

Limited to 5 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

  • Level:  adventurous beginner/intermediate - you've successfully completed Knitting Basics and Knitting II!
  • We provide:  studio space and encouragement.
  • You bring:  yourself, a copy of the pattern, approximately 101 - 140 yards of DK weight yarn (we think this petite scarf looks lovely in Fibre Co's Acadia), 16” US4 circular and a tapestry needle; we offer 15% off all materials purchased for class.
  • Class length: 2.5 hours

Last minute cancellations

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any cancellations with less than 72 hours notice. Of course, if you can’t make a class at the last minute you can always send someone in your place. 

Class Credits

Due to the very limited enrollment in our classes and the special nature of our workshops, classes/workshops are non-refundable. However, if you let us know at least 72 hours in advance, we will transfer you to another class of your choosing or credit your gather here account.

Please email us at with any class cancellation requests. A reply email will have your credit info attached.

Class Materials

All materials are included in our 'Basics' classes.
Intermediate and advanced classes often require that you bring your own materials; please check the class description for a complete materials list.
