Single Malt Sweater - 4 sessions

gather here Classes

The Single Malt sweater is a top-down raglan with an easy to memorize motifs knitted in Aran weight - your sweater will come together quickly! Not only will you learn to knit a top-down sweater but you'll also work on knitting a one-piece sweater with short-rows in a textured fabric.

Limited to 6 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

      • Level:  Intermediate - this could be your first sweater, you have experience knitting in the round, you know what a gauge swatch is.
        • We provide:  the expertise and help with gauge
          • You bring:  yourself, a copy of the pattern (available in-store), Aran weight yarn (enough yarn based on your chest measurement, this is NOT the bra band size) and needles appropriate to achieve gauge (designed for magic loop so cable length at least 40"). 8+ stitch markers, tapestry needle, waste yarn (non-catching) or stitch holders. Don't forget that we offer 15% off supplies purchased for class.
          • We highly recommend knitting a gauge swatch prior to the first meeting. Not sure what that is? Ask a craft associate.
            • Class length: 2 1/2 hours each session.

            Meets Saturdays, March 4, 18, April 1 & 15 at 1PM

            Online participants will:
            • Need to pickup supplies prior to the class session.
            • Receive a Zoom invitation link the morning of the workshop.
Note that masks are still required for workshop & studio time participants.
