Retrosaria KAL - 2 sessions

gather here Classes

Reguengos de Monsaraz is the name of a village in Alentejo (Portugal), best known for the beautiful handwoven woolen blankets made to this day by the Fábrica Alentejana de Lanifícios. These blankets feature distinctive geometric motifs in bold colors and are one of the icons of Portuguese textile culture. The Reguengos cowl incorporates one of the many motifs of the Reguengos blankets as a tribute to women who make them. Designed by Rosa Pomar in four colors of Retrosaria Brusca.
