Curtain Workshop
Curtain Workshop
Mini Curtains Sampler
We get asked almost every day how to make curtains and this workshop will show you how. The class covers three different styles of curtain: the panel curtain with rod pocket, the tab curtain and the grommet curtain. We'll talk about fullness and lining, how to measure your windows, and how to calculate your fabric requirements. You'll actually stitch up mini versions of all three styles and have the know-how to calculate your yardage requirements for your future curtains.
- Level: Easy intermediate. You know how to thread a machine, sew a straight line and wind a bobbin. You've made a tote bag and the handles are still attached.
- We provide: The pattern instruction, thread, grommets, the studio space, tools and expertise.
- You bring: 1.5 yards of fabric (1 yard for the curtains & 1/2 yard for the lining, so a different color or fabric would be helpful but not required).
- Class length: 2.5 hours
