Pattern Your Favorite Garment - 3 sessions
Over this 3 day weekend we will learn the basics of making a pattern from an existing garment. This workshop is for INTERMEDIATE GARMENT STITCHERS. Understanding how a garment is constructed is necessary to understanding next steps after creating a flat pattern.
Come with your favorite garment that you are worried won't last forever and we'll work together to make this garment a real thing! Pattern paper provided as are specialty tools for creating a flat pattern. Once the pattern is drafted and trued, you'll work on cutting and stitching a mockup/toile.
Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
- Level: intermediate - you have begun sewing garments.
- We provide: the expertise, tools, pattern paper, and machines.
- You bring: yourself, your garment and mockup fabric similar to the garment's finished fabric, a calculator for math. Don't forget that we offer 15% off supplies purchased for class.
- Class length: 5 hours each session

Weekend Intensive begins on Friday, July 25 and runs through Sunday 27, 2025.
