Improv Herringbone Tablerunner - 2 sessions
Improv Herringbone Tablerunner - 2 sessions
It’s time to set the table for the holidays! Following the tutorial from She Can Quilt, we’ll be making an improvisationally pieced table runner (roughly 12 x 40”). This project comes together without using a set pattern, letting you create a unique piece using intuitive line and color.
- Level: Experienced beginner/Intermediate - you have successfully completed Quilting Basics and Quilting II or equivalent.
- We provide: The pattern, studio space, tools, and expertise.
- You bring: Fabric you love! 8-10 fat quarters/quarter yard cuts, or the equivalent of that in a variety of scraps you can cut into 20” long strips, 1/2 yard of fabric for backing, 1/2 yard batting (45" width) or a full yard to double up for heat resistance, and 1 yard of fabric for the binding. Don't forget we offer 15% off supplies for class.
- Class length: 2 1/2 hours each session for 5 hours (may require some sewing outside class to finish)
Sessions run on Thursday, December 5 and 12 at 5:30 pm.
