Fixing Knitting Mistakes

Knitting Skills - Recognizing and Fixing Mistakes:

Limited to 5 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

  • Level: You know how to knit, purl, cast on and cast off (obviously).
  • We provide: expertise and plenty of support to get you back on track.
  • You bring: yourself, 100 yards of light colored worsted weight yarn and appropriate knitting needles for your yarn. Please knit a swatch with your light colored yarn (we recommend 6"-8" across by 6"-8" tall). You will also need a crochet hook (any size between E and G), a tapestry needle and a set of double pointed needles. Also, bring the knitting that has you stumped so you can get on track to completing those projects!
  • Class length: 2 hours

Last minute cancellations

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any cancellations with less than 72 hours notice. Of course, if you can’t make a class at the last minute you can always send someone in your place. 

Class Credits

Due to the very limited enrollment in our classes and the special nature of our workshops, classes/workshops are non-refundable. However, if you let us know at least 72 hours in advance, we will transfer you to another class of your choosing or credit your gather here account.

Please email us at with any class cancellation requests. A reply email will have your credit info attached.

Class Materials

All materials are included in our 'Basics' classes.
Intermediate and advanced classes often require that you bring your own materials; please check the class description for a complete materials list.
