The Coasting pattern captures the joy of Woven Knitting. Learn this innovative technique where different designs magically emerge as you repeat the same pattern! Knit four or more coasters simultaneously. When they’re off your needles, felt them & then we'll steek!
Limited to 5 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
- Level: Confident Beginner/Intermediate. You can cast on, knit, purl and bind off! You've taken knitting basics and circular knitting. This is not the first time you've knit in the round.
- We provide: moral support, expertise, double knitting tips, and great company. Plus we're happy to felt your coasters between sessions!
- You bring: A copy of Mary W Martin's Coasting Collection pattern, 2 colours of DK/Worsted weight non-superwash yarn that felts well (we recommend Universal Worsted or BS Woolstok). You'll need approximately 80 yd/ 73 m of each color to knit 4 coasters. US 7 circular needles; 20-24 in/ 50-60 cm needle. Finished Size of each coaster: 4.5 in square. We offer 15% off supplies purchased for any of our classes.
- Class length: 2 1/2 hours each session for a total of 5 hours.
Sessions meet Saturday, June 7 and 21 at 1:30 PM
- Need to pickup supplies prior to the class session.
- Receive a Zoom invitation link the morning of the workshop.

Unused yarn, pre-cut fat-quarter bundles and un-opened notions, in their original condition, may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase. We do not cover shipping costs for exchanges.
We offer a full refund within 14 days of purchase and a store credit within 30 days of purchase.
Non-returnable items:
Cut to order fabrics, all books and patterns, gift cards, classes as well as downloadable products. These can be replaced if damaged in shipping.
All "sale" items are also final sale.
