Sure, gather here is a secular business but we know some of you want to celebrate Spring and Easter in a sustainable way. This project is a great way to utilize your scraps and practice sewing gentle curves. We will talk about topstitching strategies and seam finishing methods. 

Limited to 6 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

  • Level: Beginner. You've taken Sewing Basics and are ready for more practice. 
  • We provide:  Copies of the pattern, tools, machines, expertise, and encouragement!
  • You bring: Yourself, and 4 fat quarters or 4 quarter yard cuts of yardage. (You can totally bring scraps but make sure they are 5”x7” or larger). Don't forget that we offer 15% off all supplies for any of our workshops.
  • Class length: 2 hours

Last minute cancellations
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any cancellations with less than 72 hours notice. Of course, if you can’t make a class at the last minute you can always send someone in your place. 

Class Credits
Due to the very limited enrollment in our classes and the special nature of our workshops, classes/workshops are non-refundable. However, if you let us know at least 72 hours in advance, we will credit your gather here account.

Please email us at with any class cancellation requests. A reply email will have your credit info attached.

Class Materials
All materials are included in our 'Basics' classes.
Intermediate and advanced classes often require that you bring your own materials; please check the class description for a complete materials list.
