The Uncommon Thread's smooth merino/nylon blend - a true workhorse yarn! It is perfect for the most durable socks, but is also soft enough for baby items and anything else that will get tons of wear.
Although we recommend hand-washing to prolong the life of your knits, this yarn may be machine washed on a gentle wool cycle, then laid flat to dry.

About the brand
Uncommon Thread was started in 2010 and is still an artisan company. They hand dye all their yarns in their Brighton, England studio.
With strong feelings about the environment they aims to minimize the impact they have on it. They simmer the yarns for a long time so that as much dye as possible can bond with the fibres, rather than going down the drain. Additionally, all the farmers who grow their wool do not practice mulesing.

Handwash cool (or machine wash gentle), lay flat to dry
If using with multiple colors, hand wash thoroughly before knitting, as this yarn may bleed for the first few washes.

Unused yarn, pre-cut fat-quarter bundles and un-opened notions, in their original condition, may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase. We do not cover shipping costs for exchanges.
We offer a full refund within 14 days of purchase and a store credit within 30 days of purchase.
Non-returnable items:
Cut to order fabrics, all books and patterns, gift cards, classes as well as downloadable products. These can be replaced if damaged in shipping.
