Double Star Quilt - 2 sessions

gather here Classes

The Double Star Quilt's large scale, eight pointed star motif blends modern and traditional aesthetics. It is a beginner friendly, fun and fast paced quilt.

The pattern includes two size options: Baby/Throw (54’’ x 54’’) and Queen (90’’ x 90’’). You can easily make the quilt to any other specific size by changing the amount of background border.

The Double Star Quilt uses a mix of dark and light fabrics to create a patchworky, yet graphic quilt. It is a great project for experimenting with contrast. Our sample is made with a mix of dark fabrics for the star motif and a mix of light fabrics for the background. Switch it up and try a light star motif on a dark background, or experiment with color for your contrast. This workshop is to cut and piece the quilt top.

Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
