Potluck - One of a Kind Skeins
Potluck - One of a Kind Skeins
At Hedgehog Fibres, dyers are encouraged to be creative and not just follow recipes.
Potluck™ skeins are one of a kind skeins created by their artisan dyers under the watchful eye of Beata, who trains all Hedgehog Fibres dyers and oversees all colorway creations. Potlucks are unique, special and never to be repeated.
Randomly dyed to prevent striping or pooling as much as possible, these yarns create variegated effect that looks good in plain stockinette or advanced stitch motifs.
NOTE: Photos are to give you an idea of what the yarn might look like. We do not have photos of the yarns that are currently in inventory. If you order online: You get what you get. Don't order if you don't like surprises, come visit the shop and squoosh the yarn in person.

The name of “potluck” on these two skeins of yarn from Ireland is Inadequate to describe what beautiful fibers they are. One, a fine finger weight mohair, the other silk, in gorgeous and complimentary colors, soft, spring-like pastels, gossamer texture. I will knit a scarf using a strand of each to knit simultaneously. I will report back once this project is complete. JeanneCronin
