Newcastle Cardigan Pattern - PDF DOWNLOAD

Recommended Fabrics:

Self Fabric: Medium weight fabrics with a small to moderate amount of stretch - make sure that this material isn't too thick for your machine to handle!

Easy to sew: Fleece (bamboo, synthetic), athletic materials.

More challenging to sew: Knits (wool, cotton, acrylic blends).

Contrast Fabric (Variation 1): Thin to medium weight fabrics with some stretch: same as self, stretch denim, stretch suiting.

Materials Needed:

• Fusible knit interfacing
• Five (5) buttons or toggles

NOTE: Materials with no stretch such as leather could be used for shoulder detail but NOT for back detail (stretch needed for arm movement).
