Class 15 bobbins are the most common type of bobbin for modern sewing machines. Class 15 bobbins were created for Singer Class 15 sewing machines (hence the name). They're now used in all Janome, Baby Lock and Brother models as well as most other machines with a removable bobbin case system. They also work in many, but not all, drop-in bobbin sewing machines.

Class 15 bobbins are about the size of an American nickel. Its diameter measures approximately 20.3 mm and has a width of approximately 11.7 mm. These bobbins have two completely flat sides.
