Stretch Needle 75/11
Schmetz Stretch Needles are designed with a shank that is flatter than on other needles with the same diameter. This means that the needle is closer to the hook, which helps to avoid skipped stitches.
Stretch needles are most suited for highly elastic fabrics. For a 'regular' cotton jersey you'll want to use a Jersey Needle.
- For elastic or highly elastic knitted fabric
- The more elastic the material, the more suited the stretch needle is (if in doubt, use the stretch needle).
