Flying Geese Mini Quilt

We will be learning how to sew traditional Flying Geese units, using the 4-at-a-time method. We’ll end up with a 12.5” block that we’ll then quilt and bind to finish into a cute mini quilt. Students will learn the basics of sewing Flying geese units as well as practice with quilting and binding a mini quilt

Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

  • Level:  Adventurous beginner - you have successfully completed Quilting Basics and Quilting II or equivalent.
  • We provide:  the pattern (by instructor Laura Glass), expertise, machines, 15" square of cotton batting, and tools.
  • You bring:  Three ¼ yard coordinating fabrics for top, a fat quarter for backing or 16"x16" piece of fabric, 1/4 yard (width of fabric) for binding. Don't forget that we offer 15% off supplies purchased for class.
  • Class length: 3 hours

Last minute cancellations
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any cancellations with less than 72 hours notice. Of course, if you can’t make a class at the last minute you can always send someone in your place. 

Class Credits
Due to the very limited enrollment in our classes and the special nature of our workshops, classes/workshops are non-refundable. However, if you let us know at least 72 hours in advance, we will credit your gather here account.

Class Materials
All materials are included in our 'Basics' classes.
Intermediate and advanced classes often require that you bring your own materials; please check the class description for a complete materials list.
