Bellwether Hat - 2 sessions
Bellwether Hat - 2 sessions
The Bellwether Hat by Caitlin Hunter uses 2 colors of DK weight yarn. A little celebration of sheep and the wool that we love so much! It features a flock of sheep bordered by a little field of flowers. This pattern includes baby, child, and adult sizes so you can knit one for just about everyone with a head. This charted stranded colorwork hat is knit from the bottom up. A project meant to build up your colorwork confidence and have it completed before the first snow (may it be a white solstice).
Limited to 5 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
- Level: experienced beginner/intermediate - you've knit a hat. You know your knits from your purls and can knit in the round. Seriously - this is NOT your first hat or your first time working with circular needles.
- We provide: the expertise, great company, and we want to talk to you about your cat.
- You bring: yourself, a copy of the pattern (available in-store), two colors of DK weight yarn - we recommend Brusca, Vobelle, and Tweedy. Size 4 and 6 16" circular and/or DPN needles (Note: needle sizes are suggested only. You may need to use a different size to achieve gauge.), and a stitch marker. We have pompom makers available if you want to add the last touch of whimsy!
- Don't forget that we offer 15% off supplies purchased for class.
- Class length: 2-1/2 hours each session for 5 hours total.
Sessions run on Tuesday, December 1 and 8 at 6:30 PM
- Need to pickup supplies prior to the class session.
- Receive a Zoom invitation link the morning of the workshop.
