Note's from Liberty:

Meticulously redrawn to highlight the design’s intricate linework, Indigo Morris was based on ‘Honeysuckle’ – a block-printed furnishing fabric originally created by William Morris in 1876. One of Morris’s most celebrated designs, this complex botanical showcases stylised parrot tulips and honeysuckle woven amongst a trellis of leafy vines. Visualised through a monochrome lens, this well-known classic is elevated to even more dramatic heights. This print is part of the Blue story of our Spring/Summer 2024 collection, discovering it as a jewel-like droplet wherever it appears, with expansive palettes taking inspiration from the brilliance of Egyptian blue, and from the dreamy, washed-out vistas found above the clouds.

For Spring/Summer 2024, The Liberty Kaleidoscope takes us on the most vivid journey of all – through the rainbow, into a prismatic universe of color. For this collection the Liberty Fabrics designers engaged with print’s most elemental pigments, assembled here into four compelling stories: ‘Spectrum’, ‘Red’, ‘Blue’ and ‘Yellow’. The collection explores the cultural, natural and historical components that make up the light and shade of everything around us, taking us into the heart of each hue.
