Hiraeth Shawl - two session
What you’ll learn: It's a triangular shawl knit prominently in garter stitch which is broken up by three panels of lace. You cast on all the stitches at the widest edge and decrease along the left side to give the shawl its shape.
Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
- Level: Confident Beginner/Intermediate. You can cast on, knit, purl and bind off.
- We provide: The space and the expertise.
- You bring: Yourself, a copy of the pattern (available as a Ravelry in-store download or in the book, 52 Weeks of Shawls), approx. 1230 yds / 1125 m of DK weight yarn, (the pattern is designed for 5 skeins of Ranger DK by Echoview Fibre Mill), 29-32” circular needles in US7, and 4 stitch markers. We offer 15% off supplies purchased for any of our classes.
- Class length: 2.5 hours each session.
- Need to pickup supplies prior to the class session.

Last minute cancellations
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any cancellations with less than 72 hours notice. Of course, if you can’t make a class at the last minute you can always send someone in your place.
Class Credits
Due to the very limited enrollment in our classes and the special nature of our workshops, classes/workshops are non-refundable. However, if you let us know at least 72 hours in advance, we will transfer you to another class of your choosing or credit your gather here account.
