Michele Wang for Brooklyn Tweed released this pattern in 2009 and it continues to be a fiber enthusiast favorite. Knit in Brooklyn Tweed Shelter or Loft (held double) it has the drape to look elegant while still maintaining structure to keep you warm. In three sizes (short for real neck protection, double loop long for cozy commutes, and regular loop for an additional fashionable layer).
Limited to 5 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
- Level: Intermediate. You can cast on, knit, purl and bind off.
- We provide: The space and the expertise.
- You bring: Yourself, a copy of the pattern, approximately 400-420 yds of DK weight yarn, 29-32” circular needles in US6 or size to obtain gauge, and a measuring tape. We offer 15% off supplies purchased for any of our classes.
- Class length: 2.5 hours
- Need to pickup supplies prior to the class session.

Last minute cancellations
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any cancellations with less than 72 hours notice. Of course, if you can’t make a class at the last minute you can always send someone in your place.
Class Credits
Due to the very limited enrollment in our classes and the special nature of our workshops, classes/workshops are non-refundable. However, if you let us know at least 72 hours in advance, we will transfer you to another class of your choosing or credit your gather here account.

Class Materials
All materials are included in our 'Basics' classes.
Intermediate and advanced classes often require that you bring your own materials; please check the class description for a complete materials list.
