At 10.10oz, this TEXWAX™ waxed Army Duck is slightly heavier than the 8.25 oz waxed Shelter Tent canvas.
As Waxed Canvas ages, it develops a well-worn patina, giving your garment or accessory an ageless comfort, in the same manner that leather develops and burnishes with time.
The TexWax formulation consists of food and pharmaceutical grade waxes, and is completely non-hazardous and non-toxic.

Hose it off - Do NOT wash - Do NOT dry clean
- TRY water first with a light brushing or scrubbing.
- Use A LITTLE canvas cleaner or bar soap (flaked soap or Saddle soap will also work), only if necessary, to spot clean a specific area only.
- Sometimes a small amount of ammonia will help.
- NEVER use detergent, liquid or powdered.
- NEVER dry clean as the powerful environmentally damaging chlorinated solvents will remove the finish.
- IF re-waxing, apply the wax SPARINGLY - a little heat from a hair dryer always helps.
Remember, Waxed Canvas is rugged and made for active outdoor use. It is weather-tough and made for your next adventure.

A note about shipping

All oilskin fabrics and waxed canvases are sent folded.
This means that there will be creases in the wax finish.

Unused yarn, pre-cut fat-quarter bundles and un-opened notions, in their original condition, may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase. We do not cover shipping costs for exchanges.
We offer a full refund within 14 days of purchase and a store credit within 30 days of purchase.
