Summer Vacation Quilt Camp - meets 5 times
Vacation Quilt Camp - (appropriate for advanced beginner+):
Meets every morning from 9 AM until 12:30 PM.
Students will learn how to measure and cut quilt block pieces (we'll learn how to create FOUR blocks!), we'll discuss the principles of color and pattern in quilting and each one will work on their very own lap quilt. The week will be devoted to sewing blocks, piecing them together and creating the quilt back. Students will actually use the sewing machine to quilt and bind their quilts. If time permits students can further personalize their quilts using hand embroidery.
Limited to 5 students (ages 9-15), students should have previous sewing machine experience. Completing Sewing I, Youth School of Sewing during the academic year, or equivalent machine sewing use.

- Class length: 3 1/2 hours a day all week long, for a total of 17 1/2 hours.

Last minute cancellations
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any cancellations with less than 72 hours notice. Of course, if you can’t make a class at the last minute you can always send someone in your place.
Class Credits
Due to the very limited enrollment in our classes and the special nature of our workshops, classes/workshops are non-refundable. However, if you let us know at least 72 hours in advance, we will transfer you to another class of your choosing or credit your gather here account.

All materials are included in our 'Basics' classes.
