There’s nothing quite like the lush, cozy feeling of handknitted socks! Quick and satisfying to make, small and portable, socks remain one of the most frequently handknit items today.
We will be knitting the Copeland socks - for newbies we suggest the DK-weight and for the advanced knitter (who just hasn't knit socks yet) feel free to go with fingering/sock weight yarn.
We swear that you'll want to return to this book over and over again to knit another perfect pair!
Limited to 5 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
- Level: Confident Beginner/Intermediate. You can cast on, knit, purl and bind off. You know how to knit in the round (you've taken Circular Knitting). This is not your second knitting class.
- We provide: space and expertise
- You bring: Yourself, a copy of Ready Set Socks! (this workshop is free when you purchase the book and yarn), your needles (will depend on if you are knitting DK or fingering weight socks), stitch markers, and the yarn appropriate for the Copeland.
- We offer 15% off supplies purchased for any of our classes.
- Class length: 2 1/2 hours each session

Class meets on Saturdays, June 1, 8, and 15 at 1:30 PM
Note that masks are required on Mondays. You may be asked to mask on other days.

Last minute cancellations
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any cancellations with less than 72 hours notice. Of course, if you can’t make a class at the last minute you can always send someone in your place.
Class Credits
Due to the very limited enrollment in our classes and the special nature of our workshops, classes/workshops are non-refundable. However, if you let us know at least 72 hours in advance, we will transfer you to another class of your choosing or credit your gather here account.

Class Materials
All materials are included in our 'Basics' classes.
Intermediate and advanced classes often require that you bring your own materials; please check the class description for a complete materials list.
