Main Street Hat - two sessions
Main Street Hat - two sessions
Ready to learn how to decrease stitches? If you've taken Circular Knitting where we knit the Autumn Hat, you learned how to knit on circular needles BUT we don't decrease at the crown. We commissioned this hat design to feature the yarn of local small business, STIK, who specializes in bulky weight knits. The design is simple but with the added decreases you'll gain confidence in creating something with a little more finesse.
Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
- Level: adventurous beginner/intermediate - you have taken knitting basics and circular knitting. This is NOT your first hat.
- We provide: the expertise, a copy of the pattern, and moral support.
- You bring: yourself, US #15 16” circular and US #15 DPNs/long cable for magic loop, stitch markers, darning needle, and approximately 175 yards bulky weight yarn (as mentioned, this was designed for STYOUK yarn). Don't forget that we offer 15% off supplies purchased for class.
- Class length: 2 1/2 hours each session for a total of 5 hours.
Sessions run on Wednesdays, October 16 and 23 at 6 PM.
