A Sewing Clinic
Not sure what interfacing to use? Unclear when a sew-in interfacing is the better option? Want to use the same interfacing in all your projects? You probably shouldn't. In this workshop we'll discuss interfacing best practices, interface various fabrics of different weights, and hopefully you'll leave feeling a little more confident about selecting the correct weight interfacing your next project.
Limited to 4 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
- Level: beginner (you have taken Sewing Basics)
- We provide: the expertise, tools, fabric and interfacing
- You bring: yourself
- Class length: 90 minutes
Note that masks are required on Mondays. You may be asked to mask on other days.
*Some Sewing Classes may be scheduled for our downstairs studio. Please contact us if you would prefer not to navigate stairs and we will switch studios.

Last minute cancellations
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any cancellations with less than 72 hours notice. Of course, if you can’t make a class at the last minute you can always send someone in your place.
Class Credits
Due to the very limited enrollment in our classes and the special nature of our workshops, classes/workshops are non-refundable. However, if you let us know at least 72 hours in advance, we will transfer you to another class of your choosing or credit your gather here account.
Please email us at with any class cancellation requests. A reply email will have your credit info attached.
Class Materials
All materials are included in our 'Basics' classes.
Intermediate and advanced classes often require that you bring your own materials; please check the class description for a complete materials list.
