Woodhaven Apron Pattern - PDF DOWNLOAD

This pattern features a chest pocket for pens and small tools (and inner zipped pocket to secure your phone) along with three hip pocket designs. Variation 1 includes three layers of divided pockets reinforced with rivets and an extra ergonomic hip pocket perfect for tools that need to be reached quickly. Variation 2 includes a clever 'kangaroo' pouch with two deep angled pockets and two shallower pockets. Variation 3's divided pleated pockets are ideal for carrying many small things (nails, screws, a phone) in an organized manner.

Whichever pocket combination you choose, the resulting apron will be much appreciated by any wearer wishing to protect their wardrobe! This apron includes an inclusive size range that can suit teens, men, and women alike.

Recommended Fabric

Medium-weight canvas or ticking fabric. Can also use denim for a hard-wearing apron, or linen for a lighter-weight option.

Other Materials:

• Heavy duty sewing machine needle
• Topstitching thread (optional)

All Variations:

• 7" metal zipper
• 4 yards of webbing
• Mallot
• Grommet setter and anvil
• Rivet setter or tool kit
• 4 sets of grommets at least 1" wide
• TIP: Your webbing width should match your grommet circumference. For instance, if you are getting 1" wide webbing, make sure to get 1" grommets.
• Variation 1: 6 sets of rivets, size 3/8"
• Variation 2: 4 sets of rivets, size 3/8"
• Variation 3: 3 sets of rivets, size 3/8"

Optional Hardware:

• 1/4 yd of extra webbing
• D-ring the same width as the webbing
• Additional sets of 3/8" rivets if you would like to add more
• 1 side release buckle
• 1 slider
